What A Season!!!

My Titans finished the year with the best record in the NFL at 13-3 and they had a first round bye in the playoffs. They met the Ravens at home on Saturday January 10th and Lost to them 13-10 it was a little devastating that they lost but what a year for the team to grow and get better they have a lot of work to do in the offseason hopefully they can sign back one of the key players Albert Haynesworth if they can get him back then they will have everybody back and they can make another run at the superbowl. I will cross my fingers and we will have to see in the offseaon what kind of moves they make in order to improve that offense of theirs. They need some help in the WR department and maybe a little help in the running game. Don't get me wrong Chris Johnson is the real deal but Lendale White needs to improve his game or they need to let him go. I think that the Titans need to go after a big time WR in like Roy Williams from Dallas he will be a free agent this year and would make a big acquistion for the Titans. They need to add some more depth to the LB corp's and also to the CB's as well. They could get those guys in the draft.

So far it has been 8 weeks since I last had a job and I have had some promising interviews but then lead to nothing. It is a real hard time for me now I am getting really depressed as of lately and not sure what I am going to do financially. I feel like I am failing as a husband and a provider for my family. There is a point in a man's life that is his breaking point, well I am at that point and beyond. I will try to keep pressing on and I will try to keep my head up and work on getting a job and hopefully things will start looking up for me and my family. I will try and keep everybody updated on what is going on but if you are curious ask my wife she will tell you.

PEACE OUT!!!

Redskins 7 Giants 16

I have decided to start blogging again since its football season. We will start of with stats from both teams that played last night and we will beging with the Redskins. The Skins offense only racked up at total of 209 total yards that not good or bad its just ok for them. They had 7 penalties for 35 yards, they had 0 turnovers and the total time of possession was 24:17 they did ok considering they lost the game. Now its the players turn for stats. Jason Campbell went 15/27 for 133 yards passing and threw one TD and had no int's. Clinton Portis ran the ball 23 times for 84 yards and not TD's. The only WR that caught a TD pass was Santana Moss and he finished 5 receptions for 37 yards and the one TD. The defense finally showed up and shut the giants out in the second half led by the new Redskin Jason Taylor.

The Giants on the other hand looked like the team that just won the superbowl they were sharp and took charge in their first drive I was quite impressed in how they looked. Their offense racked up a total of 354 yards, now that's impressive. They had 7 penalites for 70 yards, and their time of possessiong was 35:43, and they had only one turnover. the offense new how to spread the ball around pretty well with Plaxico Burress signing a new deal he proved why he was worth every dollar spent he caught 10 balls for 133 yards from the superbowl MVP Eli Manning who went 19/35 for 216 yards the only TD he had was from 1 yard out and he ran it in. The running game looked good with Brandon Jacobs leading the way with 21 carries and 116 yards on the ground. The defense really looked for the giants and one of the highlights was the rookie LB Bryan Kehl whol last year played for the BYU Cougars and led the Mountain west in a lot of the defensive catagories. It was really cool to see him get an opportunity to show what he could do. In the second half the game just got boring and each teams defense stuffed the others offense and nobody scored in the second half. But all in all I am very excited that Pro football is underway and can not wait to see my Titans in action this sunday against the Jaguars. The three teams that I will bring you updates will be my Titans, the Panthers or Carolina, and the Washington redskins. Hope that you enjoy all the info I give you and this will be a fun and exciting season for everybody.

PEACE OUT!
